Bonus Cars
By collecting hidden keys, you can activate Rush 2's secret cars for each
track. You will earn a new car with each set of three keys you collect. The
vehicles are the Taxi, Hot Rod, Formula 1, Prototype, and the Mountain Dew
Racer.
You need to get all the 12 keys to unlock the Prototype, and get all 4 Mountain
Dew cans and you'll unlock the Mountain Dew Racer. For every 3 keys
you get to unlock a car, its only for that level, not all of the races.
Extreme Mirror Mode: Go to the options screen, highlight 'mirror'
and hold all C buttons then press Left or Right to find 'Extreme mirror mode'.
LA Underworld: When traveling north at a high speed through
the water way shortcut on the Los Angeles level, you can use the slanted
dirt wall on the right of the exit ramp to jump over the top of the road
barricade. If completed successfully, you will fall through the road into
a dirt underworld where you can drive by as L.A. goes overhead.
Midway Track: If you win a circuit, getting 3rd place or better,
a new track called Midway opens up. You can race through Midway's office
building or whatever.
Rocket Car: To get the rocket car, you have to beat the circuit
in first place. The rocket car is really only good for looks.
A Game of Tag: While playing the practice mode with two people,
wait until both players have selected their cars. Hit the C-UP button very
fast as the numbers count down. As the screen says "Go", Player 2 will have
an "it" sign on his screen. If you blow up and you are not it then you become
"it". You have a clock in your upper left hand corner to tell you how long
you have been "it".
Cheat Menu
To get the cheat menu, go to the setup screen and hold L + R + Z. While still
holding them press all four of the C buttons. If done correctly the word
cheats should appear under the word audio.
These are only some of the cheats to unlock in the cheats menu:
Burning Wreck: Hold C-Up and press Z, Z, Z, Z
You drive as a blown up car
Massive Mass: Hold L and R and press C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right
Your car gets big...
Killer Rats: Hold L and R and press Z, Z, Z, Z
The Rats in the Subways of New York blow up. Unfortunately, you too
New York Cabs: Press R, L, Z, C-Up, C-Down, C-Up
All the computers are driving Taxis
Resurrect In Place: Hold Z and press C-Left, C-Right, C-Right
and C-Left
After you blow up, you stay in the same place you blew up. If you blow
up or press C-Up again before the blinking stops, it'll be like a regular
resurrection and you'll be sent someplace else.
Frame Scale: Hold Z and press C-Down, C-Up, C-Up, and C-Down.

Tire Scaling: Hold Z and press C-Left, C-Right, C-Right, and
C-Left.

Auto-Abort: Quickly press C-Up four times
Disables or Enables the Auto-Abort.
Game Timer: Hold Z and press C-Down, C-Up, C-Up, and C-Down.
That stupid timer is gone and you can go as slow as you want taking any detours
off course as you please. This is really good for getting keys.
Gravity: Hold Z, and press C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, C-Down 3 times.
(meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 3 times)
Change the gravity of the levels you play on. It can make you jump
higher...or not...
Car Collisions: Hold L and R, and press C-Left, C-Up, C-Right,
C-Down 3 times. (meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 3 times)
This enables and disables you from crashing into stupid cars
Cone Mines: Hold Z, and press L, R, L, R, L, R, L, R
The cones turn into playful looking little mines that look so cute and
orange...until it blows you up or some other unlucky soul.
Car Mines: Tap Z and press C-Up, C-Right, C-Down, C-Left 6 times.
(meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 6 times)
Probably makes cars into mines and make you blow up.
Track Orientation: Hold L and R, and press C-Up, C-Right, C-Down,
C-Left 4 times. (meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 4 times)
Change the color of the track
Super Speed: Hold L and R and press C-Up, C-Down, C-Left, C-Right
Go fast
Inside-Out Car: Hold C-Right and C-Down, and press L, R, Z.
a stupid effect. so stupid i forgot what it actually looks like.
Damage: Press R, C-Down, L, R, C-Down, L
Enables or disables the damage displayed on your car
Invincibility: Press L, C-Up, R, L, C-Up, R
you don't blow up or get any damage.
Invisible Car: Hold L and R, and press C-Up, C-Down 5 times
(meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 5 times)
your car is now invisible and everyone except you can see it
Invisible Track: Hold L and R, and press C-Down, C-Up 5 times
(meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 5 times)
You gotta be an idiot to use this code, but if you memorized the game so
well, try the game without any road to tell you where to go.
Brakes: Hold C-Up and C-Right, and press Z 3 times
Enables and disables the brakes. If you don't use the brakes at all,
you don't have to waste your time using this code.
Super Tires: Hold L and R, and press C-Up, C-Right, C-Down,
C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, C-Down, C-Left
You get super tires
Suicide Mode: Hold Z, and press C-Down, C-Left, C-Up, C-Right,
C-Down, C-Left, C-Up, C-Right
everything you touch, you blow up. If you touch another car, you and
him blow up. It becomes a real advantage if you use it with the
Invincibility...
Do the Dew!: Hold L and R and press C-Down, C-Left, C-Up, C-Right
C-Down, C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, then press Z.
Levitation: Hold L, R, and Z, and hit C-Up 4 times
You can float. To start levitating keep pressing the Up-C button over
and over and over. You must have the Auto-Abort turned off and the
Resurrect in Place on.
Fog Color: Hold Z, and press C-Left, C-Up, C-Right, and C-Down
3 times. (meaning pressing the whole combination of cs 3 times)
Change the color of the fog to a nice variety of gay but neat colors
Stunt Mode: Hold all four C buttons and press R, A, Z, L.
If you have this on and do a roll in the air during another race except the
Stunt track, then you get points for it.
